Activision is the latest company to pull out of GDC 2020

Sony, Facebook, Microsoft, Epic Games, Unity, Iron Galaxy, and so many companies have pulled out of GDC 2020 because of the coronavirus. Now, Activision Blizzard has joined the list.
The health and well-being of our teams is our highest priority, and due to growing concerns related to COVID-19, Activision is asking employees not to attend this year’s Game Developers Conference as we continue to monitor the situation. 1/2

At this point GDC 2020 has very little left. Most of the biggest companies have pulled out.
The coronavirus has impact many parts of the gaming industry. Such as The Outer Worlds being delayed for the Switch and Nintendo Switch consoles reported to be in short supply.
