Age Of Wonders: Planetfall Takes The Series To Space

PDXCON 2018 took place this weekend and during its announcement show, Age Of Wonders: Planetfall was revealed. Developed by Triumph Studios and published by Paradox Interactive, Age Of Wonders: Planetfall is the first game in the 4X turn-based strategy series to take place in a sci-fi setting. The title will see players "emerge from the dark age of a fallen galactic empire to craft a new future for their people". Age Of Wonders: Planetfall has been "roughly three years into development" according to Triumph Studios CEO Leonard Sas.

Age Of Wonders: Planetfall will feature strategic turn-based sci-fi combat, which includes units with customizable weapons alongside destructible environments, multiple paths to victory and planetary empire building, with players taking control of a House that can build its own colonies. Age Of Wonders: Planetfall is set to come out in 2019 on PC and console. Check out the title's announcement trailer and Steam page.
