Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered will not be Available for Separate Purchase

Those more excited for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’s Remastered than Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be upset to hear that you cannot purchase Modern Warfare Remeasured separately. 

The only way to get the remastered game is to purchase the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and the Digital Deluxe editions of the game. The cheapest bring the $79.99.

The game will feature a full standalone multiplayer progression system complete with all the elements found in the original game, as well as dedicated servers. Progression made in the original game will not carry over into the remastered version.

The remastered version of the revolutionary competitive shooter will be developed by Raven Software, which Infinity Ward acting as the executive producer. 

What do you think of this offer, is it meant to bolster sales of Infinite Warfare? After all the first Modern Warfare remains one of the most highly acclaimed FPS games ever released, setting new standards for not only competitive gaming but single-player campaigns. 

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 4th. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be available for the same platforms.
