Castlevania’s Simon Belmont and Richter Confirmed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Today, a flood of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate news came out. Most notably new characters such as Simon and Richter from the Konami franchise Castlevania.

Simon Belmont will be the primary character and Richter will serve as Simon's Echo Fighter. In addition, Nintendo confirmed that Alucard from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night will join the fight as an assist trophy and the iconic Dracula's Castle will serve as a new stage for the upcoming game.

This isn't the first time Konami characters have been part of the Super Smash Bros. franchise with Metal Gear's Snake joining the fight for the first time in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches on Nintendo Switch this December 7th.
