Elder God Wars: Extinction is the Climax of a Year-Long Storyline in RuneScape

After a year-long fight, RuneScape's Elder God Wars story comes to a dramatic conclusion today. RuneScape's world of Gielinor will be decided at this point, making this an essential upgrade. Ending the Elder God Wars, Extinction features challenging combat and high-level questing material that will keep players engaged for a long time to come.

 

As the final chapter in the Elder God Wars storyline, Elder God Wars: Extinction will be the first significant RuneScape released in 2022. The storyline began more than a year ago and has seen many battlefronts and cameos of beloved characters from across RuneScape's epic 20-year history. This is also the first Grandmaster Quest since 2016, so even the most seasoned adventurers will have their work cut out for them.

Of course, when one chapter ends, another begins and the whole team is excited for players to see what happens next and where we take RuneScape’s story from here.”

In Elder God Wars: Extinction's combat arenas, new skilling regions with access to high-tier resources for experienced fishermen, hunters, crafters, fletchers, builders, and botanists are to be found. 

In RuneScape: Extinction, the Elder God Wars: Extinction expansion is now available on PCs and mobile devices through Steam, iOS, and Android.
