Final Fantasy XV was in development for a long time, changed names from Versus: Final Fantasy XIII, and was rumored on multiple occasions to be cancelled. However, in 2016 the game released and Square Enix has steadily released new content over the course of 2017 with the final version coming March 6th. Now, Square Enix has uploaded a new video highlighting the cast of voices that brought the characters to life.
Featuring the cast from Final Fantasy XV and Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV the video showcases the stories behind the game's development. Included are stories of catchphrases, moonwalking, and friendships being created.
The video ends with a heartful message saying:
BECAUSE OF THE TREMENDOUS SUPPORT FROM THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM, TALENT, AND YOU - THE FANS, WE WERE ABLE TO MAKE FINAL FANTASY XV ROYAL EDITION.
As someone who spent months playing Final Fantasy XV, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for the franchise. Complete with an extensive emotionally driven story, beautiful environments, a dynamic combat system, and a steady flow of new content it was an incredible game. It was a journey worth waiting for and an adventure everyone should experience.
Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition launches on Xbox One and PS4 March 6th, the same day as the Windows 10 Edition. It includes all previously released DLC and will include new content never released in the original game.
