Forza Motorsport 6 Announced

Today Microsoft and Ford announced Forza Motorsport 6 is in development for the Xbox One. 

The announcement comes from the North American International Auto show in Detroit, where Ford unveiled its new Ford GT supercar. Not only will this exotic grace the cover Forza Motorsport 6 but will be available for players to choose when the game launches. Also joining the Ford GT is the F-150 Raptor and Shelby GT350 Mustang models before they’re available to the public.

"It is an honor to share this historic moment with Ford and celebrate the legacy of the GT by making it the featured cover car of Forza Motorsport 6," Xbox head Phil Spencer said of the collaboration. "We're thrilled to have the unique opportunity to announce Forza Motorsport 6the day the car debuts - on one of the biggest stages in the automotive industry, and we can't wait to share more details on the game later this year."

No gameplay or release date was given for Forza Motorsport 6 as of yet. Based on the history of the franchise it can be assumed that the game will attempt to capture the hardcore, simulation-style racing, as past games in the franchise.
