Friday the 13th: The Game Sells Big, Physical Release Confirmed

Publisher of Friday the 13th: The Game, Gun Media, announced today that their movie-inspired multiplayer slasher based on Friday the 13th will arrive on retail shelves this Friday, October 13th. 

In addition to this Gun Media revealed that the game has sold over 1.8 million copies so far. In the press release Wes Keltner acknowledged the issues regarding the game's launch:

"It's been a long two months from our team here at Gun and IllFonic," he said. "We have had an incredibly supportive and dedicated community since we launched, and while things haven't been completely smooth we definitely feel confident moving forward. The team has grown and we are committed as we work to add more content, more kills, more to do, and of course the single player component to the game."

Friday the 13th: The Game is now available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
