Gears 5 Multiplayer Tech Test Now Available for Download

The first testing period for Gears 5 is set to begin this July 19th. With the test including Escalation, Arcade, and King of the Kill along with 2 maps. You can now download the Gears 5's multiplayer test for Xbox One and PC.

The test will be available to all Xbox Game Pass subscribers for both PC and Xbox One and those who pre-ordered the game. The download will require about 11 GB of free space and is focused on testing the game's multiplayer function. So expect bugs, glitches, and getting dropped from matches.

The “Tour of Duty” challenges can unlock an exclusive Tech Test Banner, while additional challenges can unlock three Versus Weapon Skins.

The first test will run until July 22nd. The second test will start on July 26th and end on July 29th.

Gears 5 releases September 10 on PC and Xbox One.
