Mario and Sonic have come a long way from being rivals. They still compete with one another but its more of a friendly competition. With Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 featuring the 2 characters facing off, along with enemies and allies, in Olympic competition. And the latest trailer showing everyone competing in their 2D forms.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 5 in the United States and November 8 in Europe.
