Medal of Honor Warfighter Beta Announced

This morning (9/21), Danger Close Games (An EA Studio) announced that gamers will have the opportunity to participate in an open multiplayer beta for Medal of Honor Warfighter.

If three million gamers download the beta, a new Linkin Park music video will unlock. The video "Castle of Glass" will be released five days after the launch of the beta featuring live action footage edited with recordings of gameplay from Medal of Honor Warfighter. Gamers who play the beta will also be given sixty minutes of double XP when the full game releases.

The beta is exclusive to the Xbox 360 and is expected in early October.

The beta will feature a new multiplayer mode called HotSpot. The mode is inspired by real-life operations where players attack/defend locations on the Sarajevo Stadium map; teaming up in pairs using the co-op Fireteam system.

Medal of Honor Warfighter multiplayer beta is  available early October exclusively to the Xbox 360. The full game releases on October 23rd in North America and October 26th in Europe to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Pre-order the game and receive one of two map packs; Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack (N. America) or The Hunt Map Pack (everywhere else).
