Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima Releases Public Statement to Investors and Shareholders

Today Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima today shared a message to all the shareholders and investors today. Showcasing the primary focus of Nintendo is to increase the awareness of Nintendo IP to the public across the world through video games, mobile gaming, amiibos and theme parks.

My Nintendo, a new account system, was mentioned to “bridge between” their dedicated video game platforms and other devices to insure more consumers are aware of Nintendo IP.

One of the biggest difficulties sounding the Wii U’s launch was the lack of awareness. The console, including many it’s functions, went unnoticed by many consumers. It seems that Kimishima is addressing this issue in full force to ensure that everyone will be aware about Nintendo’s products whether they be gamer or non-gamer.
