Northgard Developer Reveals New Tactical RPG Wartales

Northgard is a very popular strategy game set in Norse mythology but the developer is now working on another tactical title. This time heading focusing on a medieval setting and following a band of mercenaries called Wartales.

The title is currently on Steam Early Access through the Steam NEXT Festival.

Lead a band of roving mercenaries across an expansive open world with bespoke regions. Take on contracts from local lords, seek work at taverns, or patrol roads looking for unsuspecting victims to keep the band together. Track enemies and engage in tactical turn-based battles where synergizing character abilities is the key to hard-earned victories. Then retire to camp each night to repair gear, level up, and dole out loot before going on the next adventure.

Wartales is now available through early access Steam.
