Prince of Persia Remake Delayed Indefinitely

The reveal of Prince of Persia Remake was met with a lot of negative criticism. Many were annoyed about the remake's updated visuals and many showed how the original looked superior. Ubisoft noticed and decided to delay the game but now the title has been delayed indefinitely.

Ubisoft has not provided an exact reason for this delay but it's likely due to Ubisoft's recent PR nightmare and the global pandemic. The company was ousted for having a corrupt company culture with rampant inappropriate sexual activity. This coupled with the release of Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Watch Dogs Legion having major issues was not ideal for the company. Not to mention the COVID outbreak that has caused many to work at home while exercising social distancing, requiring major shifts in how developers work.

My guess, this is likely to ensure when Prince of Persia Remake it would have the same long list of issues as recent Ubisoft releases. Especially from a beloved franchise that has a large fanbase.
