Resident Evil Project Resistance Revealed by Capcom, First Images Show New Faces

The Resident Evil franchise has been on a roll, with both Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 2 2019 both being critically acclaimed. Now, Capcom has revealed a new project for the next Resident Evil game. It's not the rumored Resident Evil 3 Remake that has been rumored but a game currently called Project Resistance.

Images were leaked and none of the characters shown are familiar. Instead, they look like normal people never featured in the franchise. We see 4 characters, 2 male and 2 females. My guess is that this is a multiplayer game similar to Resident Evil Outbreak. For those unaware, Resident Evil Outbreak was an online multiplayer cooperative survival-horror game for the PS2.

Considering the name perhaps this is a new take on Outbreak, being remastered for modern audiences. With ordinary citizens trying to survive the outbreak in Raccoon City.
