Rumor: New Crash Bandicoot Game to Release in 2019

One of the biggest games of 2017 was Crash Bandicoot's return with the N.Sane Trilogy. The return of PlayStation's original mascot provided intense challenges and selling over 2.5 million copies worldwide within 3 months. It would seem that Activision took notice of Crash's massive success and wants the Bandicoot to star in more games.

Max Arguile, the licensing manager of European licensing merchandise company GB Eye, spoke to DHX Brands for the Licensing Source Book Europe (Spring 2018). During the interview, Arguile reveals that Activision has a “five-year plan” for Crash Bandicoot that will run right through until 2022. Arguile also stated that the N.Sane Trilogy would be coming to PC and Nintendo Switch in 2018, with a new game in 2019.

Since Arguile is not a representative of Activision this is simply a rumor.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is now available for PS4.
