SEGA Releases Brand New Trailer for Total War: Warhammer lll

SEGA released the trailer for Total War Warhammer lll today, giving fans their first glimpse at the game's themes.

The game will launch in late 2021 according to its Steam page.

The blurb reads as follows:

"Embarking on a new grand campaign, you will be tasked with saving or exploiting the power of a dying god. Each race offers a unique journey through the nightmarish Chaos Realm, culminating in an endgame that will determine the fate of the world."

The game will be set in the realm of chaos and be able to control two new races - Kislev and Cathay. The game will launch with six factions including the new two and Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh, and Tzeentch.

The much loved mega campaign Mortal Empires will be returning and at an increased scope, with the map being significantly larger than the second game.

PC Gamer spoke to game director Ian Roxburgh regarding the scale of the game:

"In campaign map terms, it's big… roughly twice the size of Warhammer 2's Eye of the Vortex map,"

Total War: Warhammer 2 is available on PC on the Steam store.
