Sonic Forces Gets New Trailer Showing Characters, Gameplay Features and More

SEGA released a brand new Japanese trailer for Sonic Forces, showcasing the game's main characters.

The trailer shows new more ways the custom avatar can be altered and that they'll appear in the cutscenes. Completing levels will unlock new options. We also got a look at the wispon, which is a mix of gadget and weapon that the Avatar can be used to kill enemies and traverse the environment. 

Sonic Forces follows Sonic the Hedgehog as a member of the resistance force against Dr. Eggman who has taken over the world thanks to the help of his new ally Infinite. Gameplay will follow the same formula as Sonic Generations with players taking control of both Modern and Classic Sonic through various stages from 2.5D side-scrolling to 3D stages from the modern series. Players will also take control of a third character that the player can customize.

Sonic Forces will release on November 7, 2017, for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One
