Sony Extends Services For Free In Response to Outage

Yesterday the Sony Entertainment Network went offline for over 10 hours. In response Sony has extended the subscription time for PS Plus, PS Now and video rentals.

Sony hasn’t given an exact plan of how long each extension will last for those users affected by the outage. 

On January 5 the Sony Entertainment Network went down for the first time in 2016. While the exact nature of the outage is unknown Sony’s response to the issue was prompt.
