Square Enix Trademarks Collection of Mana

Back in 1993, Secret of Mana released on the SNES and developed a cult following, with many citing it as one of the best JRPGs of all time. It seems that Square Enix may be returning to the series with a trademark for "Collection of Mana".

As reported first by Nintendo Everything, the trademark could be for a new project. With E3 2019 on the horizon, many may speculate that this could be an announcement. But with the trademark being so close to the convention it's doubtful.

Square Enix has expressed interest in returning to the series when they remade Secret of Mana and released it in February 2018. This could be a new installment as remaking a remake doesn't seem prudent. And after the reveal of Final Fantasy 7: Remake after years of fans demanding it following the tech demo for the PS3 anything is possible.
