With the 10 hour trial now available for EA Access and Origin Access users, EA have gone to detailing what the first serving of free post-launch content for Star Wars Battlefront II will contain. December 5th will bring about the The Last Jedi Season. Most likely the first of more to come, the season will have players declaring allegiance to either the First Order or the Resistance, after which they will be able to participate in special challenges which will grant faction-specific rewards. The week of December 13 will introduce Finn and Captain Phasma, as new heroes, both purchasable with in-game credits. The faction which will complete the most challenge that week will receive a crate with powerful gear for their newly introduced hero.
December 13th is when Crait, a new Starfighter Assault map will be introduced alongside Tallie Lintra's RZ-2 A-wing. Lastly, the same date will bring new single player story chapters. Dubbed Ressurection, they will follow Iden Version during the days of the First Order's rise to power. Afterwards, weekly faction challenges will continue to be introduced. There's plenty of time to consider which faction to join, but if you've already made up your mind, let us know on which side you'll fight. Have a look at the full announcement.
