Nightdive Studios not only has to fulfill the promise of remaking System Shock, that was delayed, but now is working on remastering System Shock 2.

The announcement was made recently by Nightdive Studio. The developer has already remastered a number of titles such as Turok and Blood: Fesh Supply. With the studio's reputation built on remastering older games and fixing bugs, this means providing a number of quality-of-life improvements, like higher resolution support, rebindable mouse and keyboard controls, and an adjustable field-of-view. 

Nightdive has been sharing reports about System Shock's development actively. With live streams being held at a good rate.

Released back in 1999, System Shock 2 was a role-playing survival horror game developed by the former BioShock studio Irrational Games. Taking place in 2114 the player takes control of a soldier attempting to quarantine a genetic infection that has spread across the ship. System Shock 2 remains one of the most acclaimed games that many cite for helping vanguard the modern FPS.
