The long-standing and acclaimed fighting franchise, Tekken, is getting its 7th instalment this June 2nd.

Series' producer Katsuhiro Harada told the media in a recent press event in Tokyo:
“We were trying our best to get the game out at that time [Early 2017], to get it into the hands of users as early as possible. We saw some titles–some from our own company and some from others–which didn’t have a very good launch because of a lack of content, or whatever it was, that caused players to bash the product.”
Tekken 7 will feature a collector's edition for the PS4 and Xbox versions of the game. This edition will include a 12'' tall and 18'' wide statue of Kazuya fly kicking Heihachi in mid-air, a special steel book, and the official soundtrack of Tekken 7.
If you pre-order the game you'll gain access to Eliza who debut in Tekken Revolution. If you pre-order the game on Xbox One you'll receive Eliza and a free copy of Tekken 6 which s backwards compatible with Xbox One.
PS4 owners will get free legacy costumes from Tekken 4 and Tekken 2 for King, Xiaoyu, and Jin. A Jukebox Mode will be exclusive to the PS4 version allowing fans to play official music from the Tekken franchise.
A season pass was confirmed which includes:
3 content packs
Playable Characters
New Stages
New Game Mode
Costume Packs
36 Metallic Costume Pack
Each piece of the season pass DLC can be purchased alone.
Tekken 7 launches on June 2, 2017 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
