Tekken x Street Fighter Put on Hiatus

Bandai Namco has decided to stop development of Tekken v Street Fighter to avoid diving the communities.

Speaking with Gamespot game director Katsuhiro Harada explained that splitting the fanbase between these two communities wouldn’t be ideal.

Instead “a good window” to release the game had become “difficult” and because of this the project has been put “on hold for the moment”.

First announced in 2010 at the San Diego Comic-Con. Since then development has been slow.
