There May Be A New VR DOOM Title On The Way

It's been four years since DOOM 2016's VR spinoff game - DOOM VFR - was released.

A strange leak coming from an Australian government website shows that Bethesda has another VR title in the works.

The listing describes something called Project 2021A - a reference presumably to this year.

The classification describes a Bethesda made virtual reality computer game with a 'strong impact' and an 18+ age rating. Naturally, it seems this may be another VR DOOM title.

There's a possibility it could also be a Wolfenstein VR title, considering the release of Wolfenstein: Cyber Pilot in 2019.

For now, we'll have to wait and see. But given the game's codename, it seems likely that it's set to release this year.

Doom Eternal is available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
