Titanfall's Giant Robots Starting off as Dive Suits

In the latest video from Respawn Entertainment art designer, Joel Emslie, shared some detailed regarding the game's developing, including why real-life models were used instead of making the entire model in CG.

In the video, Emslie explained that the early model of the Titan were originally a Dive Suit used for underwater combat until a smaller model of a pilot was put next to it, which became the Atlas Titan.

The entire video is available to watch and showcases how much detail and work went into making Titanfall.
