Valve is Going To Start Shipping Games Again
Valve back at video game development?
News by Adam Siddiqui on Mar 09, 2018
Valve has one of the most popular digital distribution services in the PC gaming sphere. However, Steam's popularity meant that certain Valve titles have more-or-less become vaporware with titles such as Half-Life, Portal, and Left 4 Dead abandoned. Now it would seem that Valve is coming back to the development side of gaming with new games.

At the reveal event for their upcoming digital card game set in the DOTA universe, Artifact, Gave Newell stated the company is going to start shipping games again.
Artifact is the first of several games that are going to be coming from us. So that's sort of good news. Hooray! Valve's going to start shipping games again.
According to PC Gamer, Newell didn't state what games were coming out but confirmed 3 games are VR-based. Newel didn't elaborate stating they are not "going to be talking about it today" but that Valve is looking to "develop hardware and software simultaneously".
