How to Warp Around

Open your map screen and find an Adventure Guidepost near the place you want to go. Pick that marker and hold down your select button to warp there.

You can also skip to entirely different eras. Press the era switch button on your map screen to look at your unlocked time periods, then pick a marker in that era.

This trick only works on markers you have already walked up to and found. You can also use this system to jump between different floors inside a single dungeon. Just remember that you cannot warp directly from inside a dungeon to the outside world; you must walk out the front door first.

Opening the Warp System

You need a special item called the Golden Bell to start warping. This item lets you jump between found markers and different eras.

You get this item early in the game during the Age of Safekeeping right before you head out to your very first ruins in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales.

Later in the story, you will lose this tool. After you finish the big fight at the Northern Tower in the Age of Reconstruction, the game takes the item away. Your warp power will stay locked until you move further into the main plot.

How to Get the Golden Bell

To grab the item for the first time, you must finish the main story goal called Appear for an Audience with King Hichard.

Once you leave the throne room, a story scene will play. An NPC named Euygene will hand you the item during this scene, and you can start warping right away in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales.

To get the tool back after losing it later, you must travel to a village called Littlehope in the Age of Reconstruction. Go there right after you meet Heurich for the first time. The moment you walk into the village, a story scene will start and the game will hand the item back to you.
