Opening Extra Gear Spaces

You must finish combat tests in a building called the Temple of Trials to open more slots. When you clear the last floor of the Novice Trial, the game hands you an important item called the Warrior's Mark.

This item grants you one more slot for your gear in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales.

You can get more marks later by keeping an eye out for new tests. A bright exclamation mark icon will pop up on your screen when a new test opens up. More of these tests will unlock as you move forward through the main story.

Finding the Test Grounds

You can find the Temple of Trials sitting just south of the Rainbow Lotus. It is a special building that gives out loot every time you clear its rooms in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales.

You will first get a main story goal to walk to the Rainbow Lotus during the Age of Safekeeping. The entry to the Temple of Trials will open up the moment you reach a save spot called Southern Westerea during this part of the plot.
