Ark Survival Ascended Guide | Best Loot Cave Locations (Lost Colony)

Lost Colony has a large loot cave containing Blue, Yellow, and Red Cave Drops, including several high-quality loot spawns. This route starts from the upper entrance near pink crystals at roughly 39 Latitude, 20 Longitude and follows the left wall through the cave to several reliable crate locations.

Find the Lost Colony Loot Cave Entrance

Look for the pink crystals beside a noticeable lake below the mountain. The upper cave entrance is around 39 Latitude, 20 Longitude.

Once inside, immediately turn left and keep following the left wall. This is the simplest way to stay on the route between the major loot spawn points.

Reach the First Cave Drop

Continue hugging the left wall and move beneath the rock formations until you reach the first crate location at approximately 44.5 Latitude, 25.7 Longitude.

This spawn can contain a Blue Cave Drop, but even the lower-tier crates in this cave can provide valuable equipment.

Continue forward along the left side. Desmodus can appear inside the cave, so carrying a Whip, Parachute, and weapon gives you protection if something interrupts your route.

Check the Waterfall Loot Spawns

Follow the cave toward the waterfall. A drop can appear beside the waterfall and lake at approximately 47.5 Latitude, 25.4 Longitude.

Another possible spawn is nearby around 48.3 Latitude, 24 Longitude. Search around the large rock formation instead of leaving the waterfall area immediately.

Search the Ruins and Swamp

Continue deeper until you reach the ruins. A Red Cave Drop can spawn around 50.5 Latitude, 26 Longitude.

From there, head toward the illuminated open area and locate the small swamp. Another Red Cave Drop can appear around 54.8 Latitude, 28.1 Longitude.

Another Red Cave Drop can appear at approximately 53.5 Latitude, 25.1 Longitude. A Yellow Cave Drop is also among the possible spawns around 51.1 Latitude, 21.4 Longitude. These positions are part of a larger group of cave-crate spawn points, so every crate will not necessarily be active during the same run.

Following the left wall from the upper entrance takes you through several Blue, Yellow, and Red Cave Drop locations without requiring you to search the entire Lost Colony cave blindly.
