Cementing Paste can be difficult to farm consistently in Lost Colony, but ARK: Survival Ascended has a hidden northern cave packed with insects. Bringing a Beelzebufo lets you convert those insects directly into Cementing Paste while exploring the cave.

Find the Lost Colony Cementing Paste Cave

Travel to the far northern edge of the Lost Colony map, around 2 LAT and 27-28 LON. Look for the large mountain along the map border and a noticeable opening in the surrounding wall. The entrance is easy to miss because it sits just to the right of the larger opening.

A Desmodus or another suitable flyer can enter the cave. Once inside, descend toward the lower section and deploy a Beelzebufo.

Use Beelzebufo to Farm Cementing Paste

Move forward until you reach the swamp-like interior. Numerous insects spawn throughout this section, and a Beelzebufo can harvest them to generate Cementing Paste directly.

Beelzebufo eating insects like Meganeura and Titanomyrma produces Cementing Paste, making dense cave insect spawns especially good for farming.

Continue moving through the cavern and target groups of insects whenever you find a safe opening. The cave is large enough to contain several clusters, allowing you to gather a substantial amount before leaving.

Watch for Hostile Creatures

The cave also contains hostile creatures, including spiders and Direwolves. You do not need to fight everything. Move past unnecessary threats and concentrate on insect groups that can be reached safely with the Beelzebufo.

If you would rather farm crafting materials, bring a Megatherium and kill cave creatures for Chitin. Cementing Paste can then be crafted from Chitin or Keratin and Stone at a Mortar and Pestle or Chemistry Bench.
