Aureliax is a flying Lost Colony creature with a special taming process. You must mount it, provide the requested tribute, defend its egg, then hatch and raise it before you can use its Yin and Yang abilities.

How to Tame Aureliax

Bring a Parachute, Grappling Hook, Crossbow, and a strong weapon. Remove any shoulder pet, as it can stop you from mounting Aureliax. Approach from another flyer, parachute toward it, and grapple onto it if needed. Once mounted, hold R to check the requested tribute and give it the item. Higher-level Aureliax may request additional gifts.

After enough gifts, Aureliax turns into an egg and drops to the ground. Follow it and defend it through five waves of Neophytes. When the defense is complete, hold E to claim the Fertilized Aureliax Egg.

Incubate the egg, feed the baby Raw Meat, and raise it normally. The Aureliax Saddle unlocks at Level 85.

Aureliax Damage and Healing Abilities

Press C to switch stances. Yin is blue and supportive; Yang is orange and offensive. In Yin, the breath heals allies; in Yang, it damages enemies. Use Ctrl + Right Click for Warp Gate, Ctrl + C for Trail Detonation, and Ctrl + Left Click for Ice Pillar.

Warp Gate boosts allies in Yin and slows enemies in Yang. Trail Detonation heals in Yin and damages in Yang. Ice Pillar launches targets upward in Yin and deals damage in Yang. Using one stance charges the opposite stance for an empowered effect after switching.

After raising Aureliax, switch between Yin for support and Yang for damage as needed.
