Mina the Hollower Guide | How to Get to Bone Beach

Bone Beach is one of the more confusing regions to reach in Mina the Hollower because the path does not run straight from Ossex. You must first find the cave route through the Southern Outskirts, push into Sandfalls, clear the TNT cart puzzle, and then defeat Major Miner. This guide follows the practical route to the fourth intended Generator region.

Find The Southern Outskirts Cave Route

Leave Ossex and head into the Southern Outskirts. Move one screen south, then look for the eastern cave entrance around the middle of the route. Inside, use Puff Plants to cross gaps and rely on Mina’s Burrow ability to reposition them when they need to be shifted into a better launch point.

Cross The Cave Network

Continue through the caves until you reach the hidden platform section. The dotted floor markings help reveal where safe platforms are positioned, so move carefully and avoid rushing across blind gaps. After the mini-dungeon section, use the Underlab to save before heading south into Sandfalls.

Clear Sandfalls

In Sandfalls, your objective is to open the central path locked behind the Plasma Vial mechanism. The area uses explosive mine carts and short-fuse bombs. Pick up bombs, place or throw them near TNT stacks, and clear the blocked routes one by one. Once a TNT chain reaction is triggered, that obstacle remains cleared, so focus on consistent timing rather than perfect speed.

Open The Gate and Defeat Major Miner

After clearing the TNT cart puzzle, spend three Plasma Vials at the central lock to open the next route. This leads to the Major Miner fight. Watch for shockwaves, falling hazards, and summoned miners. Stay mobile, punish after attacks, and use healing only when there is enough space.

Once Major Miner is defeated, continue forward through the newly opened path. The route exits into Bone Beach, where you can pursue the Generator objective, shops, NPC routes, hidden rewards, and the nearby late-game exploration paths.
