Ammonia Salts are a Support Item used to revive fallen teammates in The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu. The main difficulty is timing: an unconscious explorer can be reclaimed by the forest and return as a hostile, corrupted version. Carry the item before leaving the Tempestad and revive the teammate as soon as the area is safe enough to approach.

Take Ammonia Salts Before the Expedition
Check the shared equipment on the Tempestad and take Ammonia Salts if the Contract includes difficult combat or a long route. They are a small Support Item with a maximum stack of three, so one explorer can carry emergency revives without using most of the available inventory space.
Clear Immediate Threats Around the Body
When a teammate falls, do not rush into the same attack that knocked them down. Remove nearby enemies, interrupt pursuing creatures, or have another teammate draw attention away. Stay close enough to reach the body quickly because waiting too long allows the forest to take control of the fallen explorer.
Use Ammonia Salts on the Fallen Teammate
Equip Ammonia Salts, walk up to the unconscious teammate, and utilize the interaction on their body. Hold position till revival is finished. The item revives awareness; however, the resurrected explorer may still be injured or surrounded or be without dropped equipment. Guard them while they recover.

Move Away and Regroup
Use Ammonia Salts on an unconscious teammate before the forest claims them, then protect them while they recover and regroup.
After the revive, leave the combat area and return to a safe position near the Ox-Wagon or a cleared route. Revived teammates should heal up, get essential gear only when it is safe to do so, and not take point until the group is stabilized. It’s easier to respawn fast than to collect everything you dropped.
