There is a secret exit in Star Fox on the Nintendo Switch 2, and it's all about your score. More than 100 points must be scored to complete the level. Here are the steps to take to get there.
At every fork, take the Upper Paths
When the level splits, go up. The higher paths are harder to fight than the lower ones, so more points. Practice taking them when you see a split.
Use Locked Attacks on Fighter Squadrons
Don't pick off enemies one at a time. Eliminate entire squadrons of fighters with a single shot using locked attacks. It is quicker to clear the field and to build up your score than shooting one at a time.
Complete the Final Robots Quickly
At the end of the level, you'll run into a group of robots. Remove them as quickly as possible. If you're close to 100 points, you'll get bonus points if you clear them quickly.
Select the Secret Exit
Once you finish the level with more than 100 points, two exits open up. The standard route is Katina. Aquas is the secret exit and puts you on the third step of the hard route in Star Fox.
