Local stores have been getting more ASRock Taichi 9070 XTs in stock, which makes it easy for fans to get their hands on one. The Radeon 9070 XT is an unusual card because it comes with an OC sticker and 16GB of VRAM, which means it can be overclocked right away.

People like this graphics card because it works well on both Windows and Linux. The 9070 XT commonly runs at 3GHz and shows clear performance gains in both benchmarks and real-world gaming situations.

Cooling and Power Efficiency

Out of the box, the 9070 XT is a 300W card, but overclocking can push it significantly higher. For a 300W card, the ASRock Taichi's cooler is overkill but effective. The middle fan is designed to spin in the opposite direction, reducing turbulence.

Ray Tracing and Performance Comparisons

AMD has improved ray tracing performance significantly. In terms of benchmarks, the 9070 XT generally performs slightly better or worse than the 5070Ti, depending on the game. In many scenarios, the 9070 XT outperforms the 5070 and offers competitive performance with the 5070Ti.

While 4K gameplay in every AAA title may not be possible at max settings, medium or medium-low settings combined with upscaling technologies offer a viable solution.

The card supports FSR4, which is a significant improvement over FSR 3. The cooling system with three slots on the card makes it quiet even when overclocked. A 300W card only needs two slots, though.

Pricing and Availability

In the past, OC cards like the 9070 XT have cost $30 to $50 more than the suggested retail price (MSRP), depending on how well they cool and how much stock is available. Prices may be affected by tariffs and supply chain issues in 2025.

Even yet, paying a little more over the MSRP for the Taichi model is fair. Before you buy something, it's important to compare prices in your area.
