Sonic Mania PC Version Delayed by Two Weeks and Retail Versions Released Early

SEGA announced that the release date for Sonic Mania on PC has been delayed.

On a livestream on YouTube the new release date for Sonic Mania for the PC was changed to August 29th due to development issues. Those who pre-ordered the game will receive a free copy of the original Sonic the Hedgehog, either standard or Collector's Edition. Xbox One, PS4, and Switch owners will still get the game on August 15th.

In addition, some retailers have broken the street date for Sonic Mania. While those who obtain early copies of the Xbox One and PS4 versions will be locked out Nintendo Switch owners can access all of Sonic Mania if they get their hands on a copy. If you want to avoid spoilers tread lightly on the internet.
