Mario Kart 8 DLC Adds The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing To The Mayhem

If you hated the Mercedes DLC for Mario Kart 8 don't fret, Nintendo has something incredible planned for the next DLC pack. A listing on the company’s UK page has revealed two new upcoming DLC packs that will introduce Link, Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach and Animal Crossing characters as racers. The Blue Falcon from F-Zero and new tracks, set in the Zelda and Animal Crossing worlds, will be added to Nintendo’s popular racer. 

Each pack will include two new cups, each with four courses. Wario’s Gold Mine from Mario Kart Wii as well as new tracks based on the world of The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing. Pack one, releasing in November, will add Link, Cat Peach and Tanooki Mario in addition to 4 new vehicles and eight courses. Coming May 2015 will be pack 2 that includes the Villager from Animal Crossing, Isabella and Dry Bowser along with 4 vehicles and eight courses. If you purchase both packs, separately or as a bundle, you’ll gain access to right new colors for Yoshi and eight colors for Shy Guy right away.
