PlayStation Awards 2018 Announced, Coming December 3rd

PlayStation Experience won't be happening this year but Sony is having the PlayStation Awards this December 3rd at 17:00 JST. 

According to Gamatsu, the event will be held at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo and livestreamed on YouTube.

The awards have been separated into categories based on the number of copies sold.

Platinum: 1 Million or more
Gold: 500,000-1 Million
PlayStation Network Award: Top network sales from 10/2016-09/30/2017
User Choice Award: 10 titles votes by JP and Asian users from 10/1/2017-09/30/2018
PlayStation VR Award: 3 titles contributed the most to PS VR from 10/13/2017-09/30/2018
Indies & Developer Award: 3 titles that contribute to the expansion of the PlayStation brand from 10/1/2017-09/30/2018
