Breathedge 2 Guide | How to Make Armor

Armor in Breathedge 2 is created by collecting protective materials and attaching them to your Spacesuit at the Wardrobe inside the train. Cardboard, Foam, and Knitted Teddy Bears can all provide protection, but you first need the Cutter to harvest common materials such as Cardboard and Foam.

Get the Cutter First

Before collecting Armor materials, make sure you have crafted the Cutter. Cardboard and Foam attached to structures must be cut free before they can be used on your Spacesuit.

Collect Cardboard

Look around the nearby structures for Cardboard stacks. Get the Cutter, and harvest them for Cardboard protection pieces.

Cardboard provides Electrical Protection along with some Cold Protection, making it useful as an early Spacesuit upgrade.

Collect Foam

Foam appears as noticeable yellow material on floors and other parts of nearby structures. Use the Cutter to remove and collect it.

You can equip individual pieces as you find them, so you do not need to wait until every Spacesuit slot can be filled. Different protective materials provide different defensive statistics.

Equip Armor at the Wardrobe

Return to the train after collecting your protective materials. Go inside and interact with the Wardrobe. From there, select the available Spacesuit slots and attach the Cardboard or Foam you are carrying.

The Wardrobe is the station used to attach Protective items to the Spacesuit. Breathedge 2 allows different protection pieces to be fitted across multiple body slots, so you can combine materials depending on the protection you need.

Once equipped, the protective pieces appear on the character model and can also be visible on your body during normal gameplay.

After harvesting Cardboard, Foam, or other Protective materials, return to the Wardrobe and attach them to your Spacesuit to gain Armor and environmental protection.
