In Jurassic World Evolution 2, dinosaurs can get hurt or sick, and you must heal them quickly to keep your park safe. At first, healing may seem slow, but if the correct structures and activities are in place, it is simple. Some options can even make healing happen less often, such as in Sandbox Mode.

Treating Diseases With A Medical Facility

To heal most illnesses, start by building a Medical Facility. Place it in a convenient spot, as it provides a vehicle for treatments. You can build more than one Medical Facility if you want more coverage or a faster response.

After the Medical Facility is built, select the vehicle, then choose Add Task. Next, select the sick dinosaur and pick Heal and Scan. The vehicle will drive over and handle the treatment for you. If healing is not available, it usually means the cure is not unlocked yet, and the game will push you toward research.

Researching A Cure When Healing Is Locked

Sometimes a disease cannot be treated right away. When that happens, the game may tell you to quarantine the dinosaur while the cure is researched. The easiest quarantine method is to build a second enclosure and set it up with the basics that dinosaurs need, like water and food. Then use an airlift transport to move the dinosaur into that separate pen. This helps contain the issue while you unlock treatment.

Once the prompt to research appears, go to the disease research area and start the correct Research for that illness. Once the research is complete, the team can return and administer the medication.

Healing Broken Bones And Other Injuries

Diseases can be handled in the field, but injuries like a broken bone need a different approach. If a dinosaur has a broken bone, begin by tranquilizing the dinosaur. After it is down, use transport to move it to the Medical Facility. When the dinosaur arrives, you will choose a Scientist for the treatment. Once the treatment succeeds, select the building again and transport the dinosaur back to its enclosure.

Faster Outbreak Control With Direct Control

When there is an outbreak, automatic processes may seem too slow. If the crew is having trouble keeping up, use Direct Control on the medical vehicle and provide the medicine by hand. This way is significantly faster than waiting for automated operations to happen over and over again, especially when there are a lot of dinosaurs affected at once.
