Jurassic World Evolution 2 Guide | Powering Your Park Efficiently

A simple way to keep everything powered without overspending.

In Jurassic World Evolution 2, you need to keep an eye on the park's power to make sure everything functions well. Setting up the right power stations and keeping track of their links from the start is essential for keeping a park running. Here's how to keep costs low while still powering all of your buildings efficiently.

Starting with the Generator for Back-Up

The Backup Generator is your main source of power early in the game. That being said, it's not the best choice. You can get it early on, and it helps you get started, but it costs a lot. Getting more fuel for the engine costs a lot—about 300,000—and you'll have to do it often.

The backup generator is helpful, especially if the power goes out near Carnivore Habitats, because it can keep the power on in case of an emergency, but you should get rid of it as soon as possible.

Unlocking the Small Power Station

To move on, you'll need to break into the Small Power Station and study it at your study Center. This is an important step that will save you time and money because it helps make your park's power system more stable and cost-effective. You will be able to use the Small Substation and Pylons along with the Small Power Station.

These upgrades are available right away and are a great way to make your park's power output bigger without polluting it. The pylons link to the substation, and you can put them in your park in smart places.

How to Connect Substations and Pylons

You need to link Pylons to the power station once it's done being built. These pylons are very important because they bring electricity from the power plant to the houses in the park. Remember that the pylons need to be attached correctly for them to work. The whole system will not work if they are not linked to the power station.

Once the pylons are in place, you can move on to installing the substations. The substation is very important because it tells buildings what power range they can use. To keep the energy flowing smoothly through the park, make sure that your substations are close to the pylons.

There is a big circle that shows the power spread of each substation. This helps you figure out where to put extra power sources in case you need them.

Coverage with the Repeater Station

You can use the Repeater Station in places where you don't want pylons to appear, or that are hard to get to. You can move power from one place to another with this station. It works by getting power from a source that already exists, like a power station or center, and sending it to all of the places it covers.

It is very important to put the Repeater Station somewhere with power already available. It will not work without a power source. Pay attention to the icon that's above the repeater station. If it's red, that means it doesn't have power, so putting it in won't help.

Big Answers for Power

You might want to get bigger power sources as your park grows. Large Power Stations and Large Substations work the same way as their smaller versions, but they can produce more power. The biggest difference is that they can hold up bigger buildings and more land. However, these bigger systems don't come with any extra parts that can make them better than their basic purpose.

How to Handle Power

Always put efficiency first. Try to find a mix between how much it costs to make electricity and how much power your park actually needs. Don't build too much.

Keep an eye on how much power is used near important places like carnivore habitats. Keep power sources close by so that you can get back online quickly if the power goes out.

Use Repeater Stations in places that are hard to get to or where pylons might not be a good idea.

By doing these things, you can make sure that your park has enough power without paying too much. Power control is a big part of running a successful park in Jurassic World Evolution 2. It will help a lot in the long run if you get it right from the start.
