SAND: Raiders of Sophie Guide | How to Get Mechanical Parts

Mechanical Parts are a crafting resource in SAND: Raiders of Sophie that you will need as you progress. They are used to create Tramplers, equipment, and other advanced items. If you don't have enough of them, you won't be able to meet the demands of the craft, so it's important to know where to find them early on.

Where to Look

Visit landmarks throughout the map. These include shipwrecks, abandoned buildings, and islands. All of these places have a possibility of containing the resources you need. Larger places such as towns offer a greater likelihood of finding more.

Finding Parts Crates

As you loot, search for crates with a cog symbol on them. Those are Parts Crates. They store Mechanical Parts and other materials such as Scrap Metal. Whenever you come across a Rare Parts Crate, open it first. The higher tier crates will drop more rewards and resources per loot.
