The more you run, the more loot you'll be able to bring back and your storage will fill up quicker than you think in SAND: Raiders of Sophie. When you reach the limit of your stash, any loot you remove after that will be lost, so you'll have to increase your stash as you continue to play.

Fortunately, the game will let you know when this occurs. You'll see a notification both in the storage menu and on the expedition screen whenever you're full.

Checking Your Storage

Open up the storage menu and look at the upper left corner of the inventory panel. Here you can see how much space you are using and how much you can use.

Upgrading Your Capacity

Click the upgrade button and a confirmation window will pop up. It shows you the Crown cost for the upgrade and how much extra storage you'll get in return. If it is a good deal, click okay, or simply press the space bar. As soon as you confirm, your storage capacity increases, and you can loot more on your next run.

Planning Ahead

The upgrades are more expensive than the previous one. If you want to continue adding to your collection over time, save up early rather than spending it all when you first acquire it.
