It is normal at the beginning if the item shop in SAND: Raiders of Sophie only offers you a basic pistol. As you progress through the Tech Tree, more weapons become available, and it's just a matter of research and resource collection.

Finding the Right Upgrade

Click on the Tech Tree in the top left navigation bar, then click on Land in the green colored tree. Search for the upgrade that has a gun icon on it. This is the one that gives you more weapons in the item shop. The first unlock costs 1,500 Crowns and 200 Scrap Ammo to research. After that, return to the item shop and new weapons will be available to buy.

Unlocking Stronger Weapons

If you desire better firearms, continue along the same branch of the Tech Tree. The more powerful the equipment, the more expensive it is, and the more powerful the tier, the more equipment you get. Later upgrades require more Crowns and less common crafting materials, which means you will have to make more trips and collect more resources before you can afford them.

Long Term Progress

The more you explore on the Tech Tree, the more weapons you will find in the item shop. This will provide you with a much larger selection of items to add to future raids over time.
