Your Trampler in SAND: Raiders of Sophie is a large battlemech, and as with all large machines, it requires fuel to operate. It has a reactor on board, but the energy it contains is not infinite. While you are traveling and raiding on Sophie, you will see the fuel level decrease on the horizontal meter on the screen.

What You Need

Pack some Energy Rods before embarking on an expedition. These are available in various forms and appear at strategic points on the map. They also fall frequently from Ironclads, so if you're low on them, it's a good idea to get some from them.

Refueling Steps

Take an Energy Rod from your stash and put it in your inventory. Use your fast wheel to equip it, and then go to your trampler's reactor. A slot is provided for loading energy rods. Once the tool tip appears, press F and the rod will be inserted into the reactor, fueling your Trampler.
