In SAND: Raiders of Sophie, Coral Chunks are a resource that you will use a lot of early on. They also unlock early game items such as new Trampler compartments and other Tech Tree upgrades, which means that if you farm them regularly, you'll save time later on.

Where to Look

Navigate to locations on the map such as shipwrecks, abandoned buildings, and other lootable locations. The containers you want to concentrate on are Valuables Safes. They are one of the most reliable sources for Coral Chunks and they also have them as guaranteed loot, so it's worth checking every time you find one.

Getting More Per Run

Named landmarks, particularly towns on islands, are more likely to have loot containers packed in, and thus provide better returns per expedition. If you come across an abandoned Bank, go in. You can find several Valuables Safes in the same area, so you don't need to go as far to get your Coral Chunks.

Staying Safe

Coral Chunks are worth enough that other players will be searching in the same areas. In addition, NPC enemies may be lurking around important areas. Be aware when searching and be vigilant for players who may be sitting nearby waiting for someone else to loot. Be sure to extract successfully, so that the chunks you collected come back with you.
