Navigating Silver Pines Downtown throws several tricky inventory puzzles and code locks your way. If you are stuck figuring out what to do with the colored bird figures or how to get the vessels running, here is how to solve each puzzle step by step.

The Cafe Bird Cage Puzzle

Inside the Cafe is a metal birdcage that is unlocked by three specific colored statues. Inserting all of them rewards you with the Smooth Stone With A Hole Memento.

To get the first statue, walk inside the Clinic located on the main road. Go to the right side of the room and get the Red Bird Statuette from the trolley. Take it back to the Cafe, interact with the cage, and slot the red piece into the matching red socket in Silver Pines.

For the second piece, head past the Riverside road sign toward the Movie Theater. Inside the theater lobby, grab the Yellow Bird Statuette sitting on the counter.

While you are here, buy the Projector Room Key from the vending machine to grab the Nail Gun upstairs if you need extra firepower. Return to the Cafe and place the yellow piece into the yellow slot.

The final piece requires a trip past The Rabbit Hole Bar & Restaurant along the road heading toward the caravan. Speak to the digging man, drop down the ledge, and climb up the far side. Look up to spot a hanging ladder secured by a lock.

Shoot the padlock with your handgun to lower the ladder, climb up and get the Silver Bird Statuette. Return to the Cafe one last time and insert the silver figure into the final slot. The cage doors open immediately, letting you grab the Smooth Stone With A Hole Memento.

Cable Car Station Bell Booth

Reaching the Cable Car Station requires bypassing a burning vehicle blocking the main road. Drop through the water ledge near the shutter shortcut, sneak through the enemy tunnel, and emerge on the far side of Downtown in Silver Pines.

Walk inside the Cable Car Station lobby and pick up the Broken Plaque resting on the bench. Head up the stairs to the platform area and interact with the bell booth on the right side.

Place the Broken Plaque directly into the recessed slot at the top of the booth. Once placed, you can take the Riverside Bridge Key hanging directly beneath the letter A. This key opens the locked gate door back on Market Street.

Ship Control Panel Code

Down at the water docks, enter the large Ship by climbing over the exterior cabin and breaking the barricaded doorway. Next to the fixed control note, you will find an interactive console with a red light and a grid of buttons.

To unlock the ship hatch and face the boss, press the Bottom-Left button first, followed by the Bottom-Right button, and finish with the Top-Right button. The console triggers immediately and pops open the exterior hatch on your right.

Repair Ferry & Boat

Traveling between districts requires fixing two separate water vessels in the area in Silver Pines.

When trying to start the Ferry, the power blows out. Head through the gap in the wall near the phone box and break into the adjacent brick building. Take the Electrical Fuse (20A) off the desk. Walk into the Ferry control cabin, place the fuse in the empty slot, and throw the main power switch.

To repair the small craft in the Boat Workshop near the Silver Gazette, take the Gear Box from your inventory and install it into the loose Boat Engine.

Pick up the repaired engine, carry it through the left door out to the dock, and mount it onto the Boat.

Before attempting to swim past the "No Swimming" sign to reach the opposite bank, ensure you have the Sea Polished Glass Shard equipped in your inventory so your character does not drown during the crossing in Silver Pines.
