Silver Pines Guide | How to Get the Leave Ending

You unlock the Leave Ending in Silver Pines by killing Eddie Velvet and completing the final sequence outside the Miner Diner. Reach Eddie near the end of the game and choose the correct dialogue option.

Reach Eddie Velvet

Progress through the Mountain section until you reach the final boss encounter. During the sequence, you must stab three stakes into the tree to trigger the fight.

After defeating the boss, continue through the area until you find Eddie Velvet near the dead tree.

Save Your Game Before Talking to Eddie

Before speaking to Eddie, use the nearby payphone to save your progress. This is important if you want to experience the other endings without replaying the entire final section.

Once you save your game, approach Eddie and speak to him twice to reveal the ending choices.

Choose to Kill Eddie Velvet

When the dialogue options appear, select "Kill Eddie Velvet" to pursue the Leave Ending. Follow the sequence and shoot Eddie to complete this part of the ending.

Choosing this option sets you on the Leave Ending route.

Return to the Miner Diner

After the scene with Eddie, return to the area outside the Miner Diner in the Outskirts. Answer the ringing payphone, then get into your car.

This triggers the final cutscene and completes the Leave Ending in Silver Pines.

Final Thoughts

The Leave Ending is straightforward once you reach Eddie Velvet. Save at the payphone before speaking to him, choose "Kill Eddie Velvet," and return to the Miner Diner to finish the game.
