Exploring the Silver Pines Sheriff Dept. halts your progress with locked evidence gates, a hidden dial combination in the Sheriff's Office, and an encrypted holding cell in the basement.
Getting through the department requires piecing together numbered illustrations across multiple wings, prying open cold storage remains, and deciphering an overhead projector message. Here is how to crack every puzzle inside the precinct in Silver Pines.
Sheriff's Office Safe Combination
Inside the Sheriff's Office, examine the desk book to find the sequence of concepts needed to turn the dial: Right (Bones), Left (Spirit), Right (Body), and Left (Evil).
Grab the Basement Key from the blue wall box. The four numbers corresponding to these concepts are scattered across pictures and statues in different wings of the building.
To get the Spirit, find the picture of the cat-like creature on the wall next to the entrance lobby in Silver Pines with the number 7.
To get the Bones, you need to use your Basement Key to open the basement gate and go into the Archive Room. Keep going into the next room, and you should see the picture of bones with 15 on it. Grab the North Wing Key from the storage area rack before heading back up.

For Body, unlock the door to the North Wing with your key, pass through the Briefing Room, and step outside.
Head down the exterior stairs, search the trash on your left to grab the License Plate for later, and head through the door on the right. Examine the medical operation picture on the wall to locate the number 3.
For Evil, return upstairs, walk past the Evidence Room, and enter the Garden. Examine the stone creature statue on the right side to find the number 10. Proceed through the Reception to unlock the security shortcut back toward the main office in Silver Pines.
Return to the Sheriff's Office and interact with the wall safe. Turn the dial to the right to 15, turn left to 7, turn right to 3, and turn left to 10. The safe unlocks, granting ammunition and the Evidence Lockup Key.
Crowbar and Badge Memento
Head back through the Reception and the Garden into the Evidence Room. Use the Evidence Lockup Key to open the interior gate and collect the Crowbar leaning against the chair.
Take the stairs down into the lower level and enter the Cold Storage room. Pull out the corpse tray at the far end of the room and inspect the body on the stretcher. A badge is wedged tightly inside the corpse's mouth. Use the Crowbar to pry the mouth open and retrieve the Badge 0013 Memento.
Proceed past Cell B to grab the Armory Key, then use the Crowbar on the nearby boarded doorway to access the Armory for the Model 7 Rifle before heading back up in Silver Pines.
Decipher Projector Clue
Return to the North Wing and walk into the Briefing Room. Interact with the lit projector on the table and place the License Plate over the projected text. Align the cutout until it isolates the words: Badge, Number, Reverse, Release, Prisoner.
The message directs you to invert the numerical sequence found on the Badge 0013 Memento. Reversing 0013 gives the four-digit passcode 3100 in Silver Pines.
Head down to the basement holding area outside the Interrogation Room. Enter 3100 into the keypad next to the door to unlock the cell, speak to the trapped deputy, and insert the Cassette Tape into the nearby tape player to proceed toward the precinct boss encounter.
